The conference "Landscape & Architecture", held by the Portuguese landscape architect João Ferreira Nunes, took place on August 20 at the workshop of the blacksmith Candeago in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The evening hosted some brief lectures that highlighted the relationships between the architect’s conceptual contribution and our local situations.
Coordinated by Paolo Feltrin, the following attentively participated: Vendemiano Sartor – Councillor for Economic, Development, Research and Innovation Policies in the Veneto Region, Isidoro Gottardo, President of the European Popular Party in the European Committee of Regions, Francesco Calzavara – Mayor of Jesolo, Etienne Majoni – Councillor for Public Works in the Municipality of Cortina, Irma Visalli – Councillor for Strategic Planning, for the candidacy of the Dolomites as a UNESCO world heritage site, the planning of parks and nature reserves and water resources in the Belluno Province. Their talks were followed by a brief comment from Rolli Marchi, journalist and export on Cortinese life.
The director of the magazine The Plan, Nicola Leonardi, closed the event with some thoughts tied to the analytical aspect of Nunes’ work.
